This website is the official internet presentation of the Slovak Aikido Friends Society (SSPA). It was developed during the year 2000. The aim is not only to provide information about our organisation, but also to enable visitors to contribute to the website. Our main goal was to build an information and communication node on the internet for the slovak and czech aikido community. To make this possible, on this site there is a database of seminars, mailrobot, message board, list of links, articles about aikido and many more.
This english version is attempt to open the slovak and czech aikido community to the world. Information published here will be useful mainly to people from Europe.

I would like to thank all the people who have worked in some way on this project. My thanks go to Imrisko, our server administrator. Henrich has helped me with design and Tomáš Redlinger has made the great photos. Thanks to Sue, David and Vanda for help with translation to english. I am grateful to them and to many others for their support.

		Operation system we use is Debian GNU Linux, webserver is Apache. Database server is MySQL and used language is PHP. We pay respect to those who develop and support open source software.
